What half ahead actually secures

The hour, on the date you asked for, with the woman you named. From the moment the deposit arrives, that evening is gone from her diary and cannot be offered to anyone else, and the hours around it are harder to fill. Paying half turns that one-sided commitment into a shared one. A booking made from home without one would leave her evening held on a promise from someone she has never met, typed from another country weeks before the date.

The seven bookings that carry it

Half ahead is asked for on any booking made more than twenty-four hours before it starts, which covers every booking fixed before a trip. It is also asked on an overnight, on two therapists at once, on Schiphol and the airport hotels, on peak dates, on sessions of three hours or more, and on a guest's first booking with the house. Only one kind of booking is paid entirely at the door: a same-day hour or two at a city address, from a guest the house has looked after before.

Half of whatever her page shows

The deposit is not a separate charge with a scale of its own. It is one half of the fee for the booking in question, so an hour, ninety minutes, three hours and the overnight each carry the half of their own fee. The same arithmetic holds when two therapists come to one guest, or when a couple has a therapist each: the fee is larger, so its half is larger, and nothing else in the rule moves. The other half is paid in the room. Every rate is listed on the profiles and the table is the same for every woman.

Paying it from another country

Card is the main route, and Revolut, Wise and crypto are accepted for anyone who prefers them. The exact amount and the details for paying it appear in the thread once the evening is agreed, and nowhere else. PayPal and bank transfer are not used. Cash cannot serve as a deposit, for the plain reason that a deposit is settled before she leaves and cash changes hands only in the room. Every figure is in euros, and a card issued abroad converts at its own bank's rate.

Settling the second half in the room

The second half is settled when she arrives, and the figure is the one agreed in the thread, not a new one. Cash in euros works, and so does cash in another major currency, provided the exact sum in that currency was confirmed to you in writing before she set out. Nothing is added at the door for the hour, the day or the journey inside central Amsterdam.

When the deposit comes back

In full, whenever the evening is called off more than twenty-four hours ahead. In full, if the hour you released is booked by another guest. In full, or held as credit if you prefer, if the house cannot perform the booking or the woman you named cannot come and you do not want anyone else. As credit, if something outside both sides' control, such as a transport shutdown or an official instruction, makes the evening impossible. A traveller who cancels early loses nothing.

Why half, and not the whole fee

A deposit of the entire fee would ask a traveller to pay in full for an evening weeks away, in a city not yet reached, to someone never met. No deposit at all would leave her evening resting on a message typed from abroad. Half sits between those two positions. The guest carries part of the risk of cancelling late, the house carries part of the risk of a diary emptied for nothing, and the rest of the fee waits until she is actually at the door. It also keeps the arithmetic simple: every figure on the rate table halves cleanly, and a planner can read the deposit off any profile without asking.

When it is kept

Inside the final twenty-four hours, before she has set out, half the deposit is kept as fee already earned and the other half is repaid. From the moment she sets out, none of it is repaid. Even then, if you can show that the loss to the house was smaller than the part it kept, only that smaller amount is kept. A session ended early

If a guest decides partway through that the evening is over, the full fee stays payable for the time that was reserved. The hours were held and she made the journey, and what is left of them cannot be given to anyone else at that point. The same applies if a visit is ended because a limit she named was pressed on: the fee for the reserved time stands, and nothing beyond it is asked for.

What the deposit never buys

Any say over what a session includes. The deposit holds an hour and a woman's time, and that is all. What happens in the room is hers to decide, and she tells you her limits in her own words at the start. Every guest is twenty-one or over, and she may ask to see a document at the door.
